LabelLanguageWriter

public static class LabelLanguageWriter

Writes a Label in other printer languages. Items with a native equivalent become commands; everything else is rendered through the ZPL renderer and sent as a graphic. EPL/Fingerprint strings may contain binary graphic data: send them encoded as Latin-1.

Methods

Method SignatureReturnsDescription
static # ToEpl(Label label, int dpi = 203)string
static # ToEpl<T>(Label label, IEnumerable<T> records, int dpi = 203, Func<T, int>? copies = default, string formName = "ZPLENG")stringEPL2 with data binding: the label is stored once as a form (FS…FE, one per page) whose bound, expression and counter fields are form variables (V00, V01 …); each record then recalls the form (FR) and sends only the values in a "?" data block. Counters advance per record and per copy. Variable items without an EPL equivalent are sent as graphics with each record. Records: objects (property paths) or dictionaries.
static # ToEscPos(Label label, int dpi = 203)byte[]
static # ToFingerprint(Label label, int dpi = 203)stringFingerprint (Direct Protocol). Coordinates use AN 7 (top-left anchor), y measured from the label's bottom edge.
static # ToFingerprint<T>(Label label, IEnumerable<T> records, int dpi = 203, Func<T, int>? copies = default)stringFingerprint with data binding: one complete label (per page) for every record, with bound, expression and counter values resolved; counters advance per record and per copy (otherwise copies use PF n).
static # ToPcl(Label label, int dpi = 203)byte[]
